Western Michigan women’s basketball dropped a close game at Ball State 68-65 on Saturday. Moving the teams record to 11-8, 4-4 in conference.
Even though the brown and gold narrowly out rebounded Ball State 35 to 34, redshirt senior Breanna Mobley grabbed 15 boards and nine points. Putting her career numbers in points and rebounds past 1,000. Making her the second player of all time to accomplish this feat.
The game was fairly even hard fought from both teams, as the Cardinals just barely edged out the Broncos from field goals shooting 42% compared to WMU shooting 40%.
