Western Michigan women’s basketball picked up its second straight win Wednesday against Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti by a score of 66-56.
The Broncos jumped out to an early lead in the game and never looked back, as they led from start to finish. WMU would finish 11-23 from three-point range and share the ball efficiently with 15 assists.
The first quarter was a fireworks show from Western Michigan, as they were unstoppable from the field. Six different Broncos hit a three-point shot in the quarter. The teams were close together for the first few minutes, but Western Michigan pulled away with an enormous 14-0 run.
