KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan volleyball team downed Oakland 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-17) in its regular season home opener and the first match of the Holiday Inn Invitational at University Arena on Thursday Night.
The Broncos turned in a dominant offense performance, finishing with a season-high .324 hitting percentage led by Quina Ware's 14 kills on the night. Senior middle blocker Olivia Kofie had 12 kills and a season-high .500 hitting percentage. Freshman Rachel Bontrager and senior Sydney LeMay each had eight kills.
