Western Michigan volleyball saw its season come to a close as it lost to No. 4 ranked Purdue in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday. The Broncos finished the season with a 20-13 overall record and a Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship under its belt.
It was the second year in a row the Broncos won the MAC Tournament Championship and the second year in a row the team made the NCAA Tournament.
The first-round loss was the last game at WMU for six Broncos. Logan Case, Andelyn Simkins, Julia Marr, Anna Calcagno, Keona Salesman and Madison Merz will all be gone next season.
