WMU track and field led by Sarinity Bracey's fifth-place finish at GVSU Big Meet

Western Michigan track and field wrapped up the big meet Friday at Grand Valley State with several noticeable performances, including freshmen Sarinity Bracey setting a new personal-best time in the 60-meter hurdles.

Her time in the preliminaries was 8.89 and improved to 8.82 to bring home fifth place in the finals. Senior Rebecca McNamee recorded a personal-best in the mile for the second time this season. McNamee ran a 5:01.42 mile to improve upon her personal best by nearly three seconds and finish ninth in the Big Meet. Sophomore Annalise James ran a 5:13.74 mile and junior Courtney Allen finished the mile at 5:21.
