Western Michigan track and field finished No. 11 in the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championship this weekend with 16 points.
Several Broncos recorded personal bests in Mount Pleasant, Mich., as Central Michigan hosted the championship meet. Friday, WMU athletes competed in the weight throw, as well as qualifiers for 60-meter hurdles and the 800-meter run.
Senior Aniyah Davis recorded a personal-best at 61’7 to finish fourth, scoring five points for the Broncos. Fellow senior Taylor Eaton threw a distance of 59’ for seventh place, scoring two more points for WMU. Junior Madison Ochs finished No. 12, not high enough for points, at 54’11.
