Western Michigan track and field placed 12 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, as the conference announced the academic honorees from this spring Thursday.
Leading the way for the Broncos was a trio of graduate students in Brittney Hall, Rebecca McNamee and Juliane Sormain. Hall has a 4.0 GPA in occupational therapy, and had a pair of great showings in the MAC Championships, finishing third in the 5,000-meter and fourth in the 10,000-meter run. McNamee holds a 3.64 GPA in social work and achieved a top-10 finish in the 1500-meter run at the MAC Championships. Sormain has earned a 3.
