Michigan Division I college hockey teams struggled once again last weekend, finishing 4-6, although two teams were idle.

Only one team swept their weekend series, while two teams didn’t win at all.

Every week, MLive will rank all seven Michigan teams, provide their latest results and look ahead to their next opponents.

There was only one change this week, but there are two in-state series this weekend, which could lead to a larger shakeup.

Below are MLive’s seventh rankings of the season.

Record: 4-9-3 (3-5-2 WCHA)

Last week’s ranking: 7th

Last weekend’s results: Split with Alaska, losing 5-3 on Friday and winning 4-1 on Saturday

Highlights: The Lakers fell behind 5-1 on Friday before scoring twice in the last 24 minutes.
