Western Michigan women’s soccer suffered their fourth loss of the season after falling 2-0 against No. 18 Kansas.
The Broncos were on the defensive side of the ball for most of the match conceding 31 shots and 15 shots on net. Although under lots of pressure, WMU held strong for most of the match keeping the game scoreless until the final 10 minutes.
The Jayhawks finally broke through in the 80th minute scoring back-to-back goals. Bronco goalkeeper Maggie Rogers deflected a shot back into the goal box and Chais Wright was there to finish off the chance.
