KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan's athletic programs continued their unprecedented academic success during the Fall Semester of 2024.
Overall, the Broncos tied their highest Fall GPA ever at 3.38. WMU's women's programs recorded their highest Fall GPA's and second-highest semester GPA at 3.65. The men's programs combined for a 3.20 GPA. Individually, 96 student-athletes posted a 4.0 for a new school record.
"I want to congratulate our student-athletes on another record breaking semester in the classroom," said Lorne Robertson, WMU Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration, Academics and Compliance. "I can not express enough how proud I am of their dedication to excelling both on and off the field of play, continuously setting new records in the classroom while competing at the level they did this fall is very impressive and a testament to the dedication to holistic development we try to live everyday here at WMU.
