The Western Michigan softball team concluded their season series with a 4-0 win over MAC rival the Central Michigan Chippewas Wednesday evening. The win put an end to a three game skid and improved the Broncos to 4-4 in MAC play.
Sophomore Reily Galloway got the start on the mound for the Broncos and had the best start of her college career. Galloway pitched a complete seven inning game while striking out three batters and pitching her first collegiate shutout.
Bats on both sides were quiet up until the sixth inning when WMU had a break out inning and scored four runs.
