Bronco softball dropped the weekday doubleheader Tuesday to the Bowling Green Falcons, losing the first game 3-1 and the second game by a score of 4-3. These losses give the Broncos an 11-27 overall record on the season.
The first game remained scoreless until the fourth inning, when WMU got on the board with a Logan Carter solo home run. The Falcons got its bats going in the fifth inning, scoring three runs thanks to RBI from Madi McCoy, Sarah Gonzalez and Payton Hamm that would give Bowling Green the 3-1 win.
For WMU, Mackenzie Swinehart went 2-for-3 in the first game.
