KALAMAZOO, MI - From a record-setting season to a new coach, a lot has changed in the Western Michigan football program since John Keenoy first stepped onto the Waldo Stadium practice field in 2015.
One of the few things that hasn't is in the middle of the team's offensive line.
Keenoy enters his fourth consecutive season as the Broncos' starting center, helping the current senior class accumulate a 27-13 record in its three years heading into 2018.
When the East Kentwood alumnus signed with WMU, the Broncos counted six former offensive linemen drafted into the NFL dating back to 1962, but the team has pumped out three in the past three years, including 2018 third-round pick Chukwuma Okorafor, 2017 second-round pick Taylor Moton and 2016 fourth-round pick Willie Beavers.
