WMU Ranks No. 1 in the MAC and No. 2 Among Group of 5 in Directors' Cup Fall Standings After Historic Start to 2024-25

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan University Athletics has risen to the top of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and ranks second among Group of 5 schools in the fall standings of the 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup. The Broncos also finished ahead of 24 Power 4 schools. This marks a historic achievement for the Broncos, as all five fall sports teams earned NCAA postseason appearances.

"Our coaches, staff and student-athletes are at the center of this spectacular accomplishment," said Vice President/Director of Athletics, Dan Bartholomae. "After finishing first in the MAC in the Learfield Director's Cup in 2023-24 for the first time in our history, it was our goal to continue that momentum into the academic year and after an historic Fall we are proud to be back on top.
