ST. LOUIS – Western Michigan men's basketball led by as many as 18 in the second half as the Broncos picked up their first road win of the season with a 65-51 victory over Saint Louis on Tuesday night inside Chaifetz Arena.
The victory improves WMU's overall record to 4-3 and was the first "true" road non-conference victory for the Broncos since defeating Pacific back in 2014. WMU will return home for a key non-conference match-up against mid-major power Oakland on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2:00 p.m.
After scoring just six points in the first half, senior guard Thomas Wilder had a stellar second half to finish with a game-high 16 points along with three assists
and two steals.
