WMU Powers Past Bowling Green 15-7 in Final Game of the Series

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Western Michigan baseball team used a dominating offensive performance to earn a 15-7 road win over Bowling Green Sunday afternoon, the final game of the series at Stellar Field.

WMU finished with 16 hits, its highest output in the last seven games. Many players had huge days at the plate, most notably Jesse Forestell, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI. The top three in the batting order combined for eight runs and six hits as Nick Vogelmeier went 3-for-6 with a double, two runs and two RBI, Tanner Allison went 1-for-2 with three runs and an RBI while Connor Smith went 2-for-5 with three runs and an RBI.
