KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Powered by two 20-point performances from junior Michael Flowers and freshman B. Artis White, the Western Michigan men's basketball began its 2019-20 campaign with a 75-65 victory over McNeese State inside University Arena on Tuesday night.
The backcourt of Flowers and White combined for 44 of WMU's 75 points against the Cowboys, shooting a combined 10-of-21 (.476) from the field. Flowers led the Broncos with a game-high 24 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists and three steals.
