Western Michigan men’s tennis opened the season with a pair of 7-0 victories over Grand Valley State Friday.
In the opening match, Jannik Opitz and Zac Faveri earned a 6-2 win at No. 1, Arjun Honnappa and Fynn Lohse won 6-2 at No. 2, and Jackson Boone and Ferdinand Schlueter fell 6-4 at No. 3. This allowed WMU to pick up the point for doubles competition.
