Western Michigan men’s soccer had three players selected in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft Wednesday night.
The first Bronco taken off the board was the reigning MAC Player of the Year and center back Daniel Nimick. The senior from Harrogate, England was selected as the 13th pick in the second round, 42nd overall by Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He recorded eight goals, one assist and 17 points from the back end in 2022.
Shortly after, goalkeeper Hunter Moorse was selected in the second round at pick 22, 51st overall by FC Cincinnati. The Michigan State transfer was dominant in his lone season as a Bronco, registering a 16-3-2 record, a 0.
