After a historic 37 game unbeaten streak, Western Michigan men’s soccer earned its first loss of the season. The 3-0 loss came against Bowling Green.
Three yellow cards were given in the first half, two to BGSU and one to WMU’s Duarte Chapelas. Overall, BGSU out shot WMU with seven shots, five being on goal, and one going in in the 34th minute. WMU wan only able to manage five shots with none being on goal.
The second half continued in a similar fashion with multiple fouls called on both sides. WMU managed to create opportunities with eight shots in the second half, four on goal, but none reached the scoreboard.
