“We are excited for another ESPN Tournament, as we have had a great relationship with ESPN. We are still the only Division I school to play in every ESPN-owned tournament,” said WMU head coach Steve Hawkins in a press release by the university.
Last season, the WMU Men's Basketball team went 16-16 on the season, finishing with a nine game win streak, the second longest Mid-American Conference winning streak in school history. With the return of Thomas Wilder and their previously young roster gaining much experience last season, the Broncos should be a team eager to get on the court to start the 2018 college basketball season.
