Western Michigan men’s basketball announced the signing of Javonte Brown-Ferguson Tuesday. He is coming from Texas A&M where he played two seasons.
Brown-Ferguson is a seven-foot, 255 lb. center. He started his collegiate career at UConn where he only played two games in the 2020-21 season. Last season with the Aggies, he averaged 1.7 points per game on 54.5% shooting and 1.6 rebounds per game in 3.1 minutes per game. The season prior he averaged 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7.1 minutes per game. The center also started in 11 of the 31 games he played in his first season at A&M.
