WMU men’s basketball and new head coach Clayton Bates have locked in four players, two freshmen and two transfers, for their 2020 recruiting class.
The incoming freshman are Daylan Hamilton, a 6’3 guard from Klein Forest in Houston, Texas, and Josiah “JoJo” Freeman, a 6’4 guard from Fairfax, Virginia who transferred from Paul VI Catholic to Manassas Park during his senior year.
Hamilton averaged 26 points per game in his senior season at Klein Forest and was named to the Texas All-State team for Class 6A. He has the potential to be a prolific scorer for the Broncos with his fluid jump shot and impressive ball-handling skill.
