ST. PAUL, Minn. - Western Michigan hockey's Wade Allison has been voted Preseason All-National Collegiate Hockey Association by the league's media as released at NCHC Media Day on Tuesday.

Allison had an injury-shortened season last year but still managed to finish second on the team in scoring with 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists. He only appeared in 12 conference games but scored 10 goals and added six assists. Despite the injuries, he was voted All-NCHC Honorable Mention by the league's coaches.
