Western Michigan hockey’s Jason Polin and Cameron Rowe received National Collegiate Hockey Conference weekly honors Monday night.
Polin was awarded his second KJ Branding NCHC Forward of the Week of the 2022 season after recording consecutive hat tricks in the Great Lakes Invitational, recording one against Michigan Tech in the first round and another against Ferris State in the championship game. His performance also earned him Most Valuable Player of the GLI after setting the tournament record and vaulted him into first place in the nation in goals scored at 19.
Rowe earned his second KJ Branding NCHC Goalie of the Week of the season, as the Wisconsin transfer was crucial to the Broncos’ GLI victory.
