WMU Hockey's NHLers Entering Final Stages of 2015-16 Season

KALAMAZOO -- The National Hockey League season is winding down, with teams having just 10-to-12 games remaining on the docket. Five Western Michigan hockey alumni have played throughout the 2015-16 season led by veterans Mark Letestu and Danny DeKeyser.

Letestu is the longest tenured WMU alum in the NHL, playing in his seventh season. He joined his hometown Edmonton Oilers after signing a two-year deal with the franchise in the off-season. Letestu was immediately named an assistant captain on the team and has played in all 72 games for the Oilers, recording seven goals and 11 assists.
