KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan's Cam Lee has a reputation a defenseman who's not afraid to join the attack.
Sometimes it leads to great scoring chances, and sometimes it gives the opponent an odd-man rush.
Almost every time it makes for exciting hockey.
That was certainly the case Friday, as the junior defenseman helped the Broncos pull out a 3-2 win over defending national champion Minnesota Duluth at Lawson Ice Arena.
With less than 20 seconds left in the third period, Lee carried the puck off the blue line and in between the circles, where he ripped a slapshot that made traveled about 5 fee before it was blocked by Minnesota Duluth's Scott Perunovich, who lost his stick earlier in the play.
