WMU hockey swept by Minnesota Deluth after 4-1 loss Sunday

The Broncos suffered a sweep as they lost game two of their series with Minnesota Deluth, 4-1, on Sunday. The loss dropped WMU to 5-10-3 on the season.

WMU got off to a sloppy start, surrendering three goals to the Bulldogs in the first period. Within the first four minutes of the start of regulation, Cole Koepke netted the first goal of the period for the Bulldogs. Just over a minute later, Ben Alquist scored to give Duluth a 2-0 lead. Connor Kelley put in the final dagger of the period as the Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead with just over three minutes left in the period.
