WMU hockey splits weekend series with Michigan

The No. 7 ranked Western Michigan Broncos split a weekend series against No. 6 ranked Michigan. WMU is now 9-2-1 on the season.

In the first period of Game 1 WMU took a 2-0 lead with goals from graduate studentsRobby Drazner and Tim Washe. In the second period, Cole Crusberg-Roseen scored his first career goal.

Cam Knuble scored the fourth goal of the contest to take a 4-0 lead over the Wolverines. There were no WMU goals scored in the third period, but the Wolverines managed to score a power play goal. The Broncoswon game 1 of the series 4-1.
