Western Michigan hockey will get set to face off against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers (RPI) this weekend in a two-game series at Lawson Ice Arena.
These will be the last games of WMU’s non-conference schedule. Western has six of its last 10 remaining games in Kalamazoo, including this weekend’s series.
The Broncos are coming off of a series split against NCHC rival Omaha Mavericks. Despite the split, they moved up and claimed third place in the NCHC standings.
WMU is 2-5 in the all time series against RPI. The last time the Broncos went up against the Engineers back in 2015, they lost 4-1.
