RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The Western Michigan golf team heads out west to Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde, Ariz., to host the 2017 Rio Verde Invitational beginning on Friday.
The 19-team field will tackle the club's White Wing course. The course, which also hosted the 2016 Rio Verde Invitational, measures out at 6,215 yards and is a par 72. In addition to the Broncos, the field consists of Akron, Arkansas Little Rock, Arkansas State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Central Arkansas, Central Michigan, Illinois State, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Northern Arizona, Ohio, Seton Hall, UMKC and Wichita State.
