VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, N.C. – Western Michigan head golf coach Kim Moore looks to defend her championship at the second annual United States Adaptive Open, Monday-Wednesday at Pinehurst No. 6.
Moore won last year, also at Pinehurst No. 6. In the first-ever U.S. Adaptive Open, leading from start to finish in the women's field. She heads into the tournament with the top Handicap Index in the women's field with a 2.3.
The United States Golf Association established the U.S. Adaptive Open as a new national championship to showcase the world's best golfers with disabilities.
