TAMPA, Fla. – Western Michigan goalkeeper Drew Shepherd was voted to the Premier Development League Team of the Week for week six. Shepherd recorded two shutouts on the road playing for the Michigan Bucks.
On Thursday he made three saves against the Cincinnati Dutch Lions and on Saturday he notched five saves against the West Virginia Chaos.
The Bucks are 5-1 through the first six games of the season. Shepherd has totaled 15 saves and has a 0.80 goals-against average.
The PDL is considered the top-level men's amateur soccer competition in the United States.
