KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan fans that tuned in for the final drive of the Broncos' lopsided loss to Michigan were rewarded with the team's first points of the game and a glimpse at the future of the Broncos rushing attack.
The 13-play, 57-yard march ended with a 35-yard field goal from sophomore kicker Josh Grant, but the three points were made possible with the legs of freshman running back Chase Brown.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder carried five times on the drive for 38 yards, some of which came against the Wolverines' second-team defense, but all of which was impressive, including a powerful stiff arm against Michigan starting safety Josh Metellus.
