The Broncos will be going bowling for the first time in almost two years.
On Sunday, it was announced that the Western Michigan University football team will play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Brigham Young University on Dec. 21 in Boise, Idaho.
This will be the first bowl appearance for the Broncos since Jan. 2017, when they played the University of Wisconsin in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and the first time they have been in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl since 2014.
The Broncos finished 7-5 in the 2018 season, with a 5-3 record in conference play, making them bowl eligible for the fifth consecutive season.
