Western Michigan football senior linebacker Treshaun Hayward has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, a source confirmed to the Western Herald Sunday evening.
In four years with the program, Hayward totaled 238 tackles with 16.5 tackles for loss and one sack in 36 games played.
Hayward was named MAC Defensive Player of the Year last season after compiling 142 tackles and 4.5 sacks with 11 tackles for loss, becoming the eighth player in school history to win the award. He was also a first team All-MAC pick in 2019 and an All-America selection by Sporting News (2nd team) and Phil Steele (4th team).
