KALAMAZOO, MI - Snow showers fell on the blue turf at Albertsons Stadium Sunday, but the chilly weather didn't make the Boise, Idaho venue any less appealing for the Western Michigan football players.
A year after being one of three bowl-eligible teams snubbed from the postseason, the Broncos were happy to be selected to face BYU in the 2018 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
Kickoff for the Dec. 21 game is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
"It means everything," WMU senior center John Keenoy said. "For the seniors, we're just happy to have another opportunity to play together as a team.
