KALAMAZOO, MI — Western Michigan football signed four offensive linemen in its 2016 class that topped the Mid-American Conference for the third straight year.
Spencer Kanz, a 3-star recruit from Wisconsin, was viewed as one of the Broncos' best signings and a player possible of contributing immediately. WMU coach P.J. Fleck is thrilled the Broncos were able to pluck Kanz away from Oklahoma State, Illinois and Vanderbilt.
But he's insistent that people remember the name Jaylon Moore.
"He's the hidden gem of the class," Fleck said of Moore. "The sneaker."
Moore is a 2-star offensive lineman from Detroit Consortium and he's just the second player to ever sign from his high school.
