WMU football has gained a commitment from Corey Walker, a defensive end from Normal West High School in Illinois, to its 2021 recruiting class.
Walker announced his commitment to Western Michigan via Twitter on Friday.
Walker is a two-sport athlete at Normal West, earning first team all-conference honors in football and second team all-conference honors in basketball. He plays tight end and defensive end on the football field, and he is expected to focus on defense at WMU.
Walker was formally committed to Illinois State, an FCS school located in his hometown of Normal, Ill.
