CINCINNATI, Ohio – In a back and forth affair in the series finale the Western Michigan baseball team was unable to score the tying run in the late innings in a 5-4 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon inside UC Baseball Stadium.
Western Michigan and Cincinnati each had six hits on the day with the Broncos have six hits from six different players. Of the Broncos' six hits, five went for extra-bases with four doubles and one home run. Overall WMU left eight men on base to Cincinnati's six.
Leading the way at the plate for the Broncos was senior Logan Hudson going 1-for-3 with two runs scored, one RBI and one home run.
