WMU defense 'anxious' to get back on field after allowing 68 points in 7OT win

KALAMAZOO, MI - Drew Anderson's 597 pass yards and seven touchdowns sit atop the Mid-American Conference record books to commemorate his breakout game in Buffalo's 71-68 seven-overtime loss to Western Michigan.

Broncos' linebacker Asantay Brown is eager to prove Anderson's record-setting day was an outlier on the historical timeline of WMU football.

While the roster is full of bumps and bruises following the five-hour game, Brown and his fellow defenders can't wait to get back on the field for Saturday's home game against Akron, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m.
