KALAMAZOO, MI - Several thousand Bronco fans will stampede down to cowboy country for New Year's weekend, as their history making Western Michigan University football team plays in the Cotton Bowl.
Ric Scheffers, who owns local WMU clothing store The Spirit Shoppe with his wife, said more people than he ever expected are going to the game in Arlington, Texas.
"I think when you follow the Broncos for this long, it is one of those miracle seasons," Scheffers said.
The Spirit Shoppe is among a number of stores selling Western gear for the Cotton Bowl, but they were tasked with making all of the clothing for the football team and head coach P.
