Western Michigan baseball’s Cade Sullivan was named Mid-American Conference Co-Player of the Week Monday afternoon. This is the second time the junior has won the award this season.
Sullivan is being honored for his play in the home opener against Michigan State and weekend series against Miami. The first baseman went 6-17 at the plate last week while smashing two doubles and two homers. He also tallied five RBIs and scored four runs.
The Broncos won the weekend series against Miami after taking two out of three contests and Sullivan was a major factor in the two wins.
