WMU baseball opened its 2020 season by taking one of three games in a series at USC.
The Broncos managed to score a win in spite of being outscored 35-13 in the series, with the final scores being 2-16, 8-5, 3-14.
WMU couldn’t get much going on offense or defense in the season opener on Friday night, falling behind early and allowing the Trojans to pull away and blow them out.
Sophomore Brady Miller got the opening night start and struggled, allowing six runs in two-plus innings against a Trojans lineup that proved difficult to stop all weekend.
