Western Michigan baseball lost 2-9 against Louisiana State Sunday afternoon. The Broncos were not able to take down the No. 1 team this weekend and its record falls to 0-3.
WMU brought out seven different pitchers in Sunday’s contest. Ethan Houghtaling started for the Broncos and pitched four innings. The sophomore held LSU to just three hits and one run. Luke Thelen replaced him in the fifth inning and gave up three runs. Thelen was given the loss for the game.
LSU got on the board first in the bottom of the second.
