With the majority of its hitting and several of the pitchers who were injured last year returning for Western Michigan University's baseball team, the players can't wait to start the season.
And they really, really can't wait to start the season because the Broncos' first three games are against the No. 1-ranked team in the nation, LSU, beginning on Friday night at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field in Baton Rouge, La., where more than 12,000 people are expected. The series will continue on Saturday afternoon and conclude on Sunday afternoon. All games are scheduled to be streamed on SEC Network+.
