At 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Mid-American Conference play, falling to 3-2 would be a huge hit for Western, as the University of Toledo and Northern Illinois University are ahead of them at 4-0, and Western has yet to play both teams this season. Falling to 3-2 wouldn’t eliminate them from winning the MAC West, but it would certainly make it unlikely.
