KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan Head Coach became the second coach in program history to win 100 games on Tuesday night, as the Broncos knocked off Oakland University 3-0. The win was the 10th for the Broncos this season and 13th consecutive victory over an in-state opponent.
"The program is on one heck of a run against in-state opponents," Coach Wiseman said. "They continue to add to the record, 13-0 over the last 4+ years. I think it will be very difficult for any school to ever break that."
WMU (10-2-1) outshot Oakland (3-8-3) 17-15 overall and had a 10-7 advantage in shots on goal.
