MUNCIE, Ind. -- A school record fell and two more nearly fell as the Western Michigan track and field team went 3-0 in a three-team dual meet at the Ball State Tune-Up on Fridaynight.
WMU defeated Wright State 120.50-76.50, IPFW 127.50-41.50, and the host Cardinals 107-80. The Broncos also won seven events on the night.
"I thought we had some really good performances today," said head coach Kelly Lycan. "We rebounded well after a rough outing in Alabama last weekend."
Kirstie Wieber claimed the school indoor pole vault record as her own, reaching a height of 3.
