DETROIT - P.J. Fleck is extremely passionate and deep, and he can be funny.
Western Michigan's 36-year-old head football coach was all of the above when asked about his team making a case to be selected for the Cotton Bowl after a 29-23 Mid-American Conference title-game win over Ohio Friday night at Ford Field.
In his animated way, Fleck promised to go to an all-cotton wardrobe Saturday.
The victory gives the Broncos their first 13-0 record in school history and keeps them as one of only two unbeaten squads in all of FBS, Alabama being the other one entering the Crimson Tide's SEC-title game against Florida Saturday.
